Dresden Files - Can't go home again
The 33’s are not the most numerous or influential gang on the streets, but say their name and it doesn’t matter if you’re on the corner with the bangers or in a room full of Button Men. Everyone gets quiet. No one knows who is in the gang, where they hang out, or even why they do half of what they do. If facing capture they end their own lives and make identification impossible though explosion, fire or in one case acid. They are only seen on motorcycles, custom jobs judging by speed, maneuverability and some extra toys that have been used. The bikes, like their riders, tend to self destruct if stolen or taken by the police.
They usually travel alone or in small groups. The one time they came out in force was seven years ago, on Halloween Night. This is referred by the folks of Walnut Hill as Hell Night. The 33’s have no gang colors or markings, and share no real unifying theme. This is what makes them truly terrifying. Anyone with a full helmet and riding leathers could be just a guy out for a ride, or a maniac ready to run you down.
